Rescued Animal of the Month: March 2016:
Each month we will feature a rescued animal success story.
*RESCUE STORY - KARMA* Edmonton, Alberta.
2 years ago this Family Day long weekend, Karma joined my family which now consists of 3 dogs & 3 cats.
I saw her story on Facebook after she was thrown from a moving vehicle, skin and bones, running loose in St. Albert for 10 days and -30 temperature. With a collective effort from the community, bylaw, and RCMP, she was captured and taken to Morinville Veterinary Clinic. They weren't sure if Karma would make it. After 2 weeks of care there, I took her home. The first pictures show what she look liked from capture to vet care.
I can honestly say Karma doesn't have any behavioral issues at all other than being a little shy with new men. Karma is a happy girl that goes to daycare regularly, is popular at the dog park, and is a goofy girl that I love so much. Ok and maybe I have a mild obsession of buying her every kind of collar in every colour and style!
There's also an obvious reason why I chose the name Karma. - Charlee Morgan
